This waning Autumn season,
That bursts upon the mindscape
Through the vehicle of landscape
And mingles dazzling elements
Of color, odors, tangled undergrowth,
Where things are lost in each other
And plausible limits vanish,
And with the passage of days,
Or a violent rainstorm—
The Earth is transformed in scarcity,
A stretching silence
Insulated by hoar frost and later snow,
Where color is corralled
Like an old black and white horse
Barely moving against bitter grey of day.

I shall think of geese quite differently henceforth.

Thank you, Bluebee….so many people don’t even notice them. I guess they are reading the poems or essays beneath and just skim right over them.
Thank you for noticing them.. I like them, too.

The poem you will share with Jingle poetry doesn’t need to be on the theme that is set! You can take part with any poem you like, still you get to participate, read other lovely works and share your talent with us! I personally don’t contribute every week a poem on the theme, sometimes my inside themes are different :), but still it’s fun. Would love to see you there! Thanks for answering my comments!
