Cosmos Cinquains, d’verse challenge….

To D’verse and other poetry sites that post my poetry:  Just got this email from “Jingle”.

“not sure what you mean, we post and repost lots of stuff, information sharing.

when you post on wordpress or blogger, you do not have to pay and ask permission in person.

which is what we count for.

maybe one of your fellow posted your stuff, will not publish formally in books.”

Of course she would do this, trying to throw blame on others…but she’s a known liar so it doesn’t stick.  Beware of Jingle, bluebird books, etc…because apparently these sites are all run by the same thief.  I notice that she is avoiding the real complaint, that she took an already published poem of mine and ‘rewrote’ it.  Made it garbage because she is still a thief and no poet.

Infinite space!

Distance to distance

Overwhelming all the senses

Chained sweet maiden

Like Andromeda there

Infinite patience is her fate

Hunter’s stealth

Steals earth’s orbit

Canis Major barking loudly

Orion’s ram

Joins the hunter gladly

Orbits across the nighttime sky

Vast galaxies!

Filled with stars

Still distance looms unending

Orion’s quest

Emotion burning fire!

Chases Virgo through the Heavens

Heaviness bounded

Pulls both downwards

Sagittarius the Archer wounds

Luminous skin

Orion unsheathes cock

Virgo bleeds upon Hunter’s sword

Supernova upward

Orion’s pleasure expanded

Virgo wilts, hymen pierced

Black Hole

Emotion’s fire

Pleasure burned out quickly

Hurling Virgo into vastness

I love how you brought us into an adventure through space. Also how my thought associates with the last words to the next, like a thin thread of a necklace…

I love the way you have explored the violence of the universe with your cosmos cinquains, Jane. I felt bad for poor Virgo, especially in the final two stanzas. When we look up at the stars it all appears to be so peaceful – how wrong!

I like the breathless pace of the chase and the constellations consummating sending galaxies spinning through the void.

Thanks, Grace. Since I am having a hell of a time commenting on your blog…I will do it ! You showed me how to do it with your “leaves” verses. Beautiful, clean and lovely. Thanks, Grace…I spent the morning reading Stevens…..trying to get a clue.

LOL! Pretty sexualized, I think. Thanks, Gizmo for reading and your comment. Wish it were so…this universe.
