Autumn Winds….

Autumn night winds

Hiss over  land

Round corners

And pulse under eaves.

Clashing wind chimes add sharp discord

As bare branches- with grating groans, answer. .

 

Above all,

A sharp moon casts  feeble light

Too thin to fatten the road.
