AUTUMN POEM
The chilling rains
Have blasted leaves
From black-barked trees.
Too soon this happened
Thinking there would be time.
Time to marvel
At Nature’s robust palette,
To fill the eyes and senses
With ethereal beauty
That no man’s palette can challenge.
But like most of life
We are behind
And lose out to clockwork
Not of our making.

thank you, Petru.. I begged my husband for weeks to put those blankets away, and he didn’t…..so shit happens but usually aided by our own lives. As for speedy recovery> I wish. I have to learn how to walk, etc…. all over again. This is going to take time and a lot of energy from here. Thank you, Petru. xox

I’m untrigued why you spent the last six months avoiding breaking your legs? I’d imagine it’s a lifetime thing to try and avoid any kind if accident!
Glad to hear the hubby is doing his thing!

Oh right! Not having fun at all are you? Hang in there. Use the time to be nicer to yourself than you’ve ever been. Many good wishes your way. An opportunity to practice patience – what I have to do but for different reasons. – don’t ask.
